I called Tom to see about replacing my elderly water heater, either with a similar model or with one of the new tankless models that qualify for a big tax credit this year. He came to my house first thing the next morning, gave me competitive estimates for either option (his flat fee for a simple replacement of the existing water heater was $100 lower than another company's), and helped me consider the pros and cons of each. My new tankless hot water heater was installed within two days and is working out great so far (we still have to schedule the final city inspection -- they are not quite as efficient as Tom). Great plumber!

Tom was great. I had another company come in and they were prepared to do probably hundreds of dollars in repairs (that would have been totally wrong). Tom came and told me what the problem was, explained perfectly how the hot water heater worked and why he believed the problem was where it was, and I believed him and let him fix it. I am SO GLAD I did. I can't imagine how much money he saved me. He clearly knows what he's doing and from what I can tell he's honest too. I was very happy with the work he did for me.
